Founded in 1868 by Franz Krebs in Rastatt, the company began with handcrafted basketware. After 1900, it shifted to wire mesh fencing and rockfall protection using weaving machines. Today it produces a wide array of wire products including welded mesh, wire fences, gabions, privacy screens, gates, and agricultural wire. Customers include wholesalers, fence builders, landscape architects, industrial firms, and public institutions.
