Dorn Spritzguss

Founded in 1970 by master toolmaker Peter Dorn in a former bakehouse in Echetweiler near Tettnang, the company has grown from a single lathe operation to a family-run specialist in injection-molded plastic parts. Today it employs over 50 staff and operates modern machinery including injection molding machines with clamping forces from 6 to 350 tonnes. The firm offers product design, toolmaking, sheet metal processing, and injection molding from its facilities in Tettnang-Hiltensweiler. It processes thermoplastics such as PA, PC, POM, ABS, and PP, and can combine plastic parts with metal inserts. A photovoltaic system covering 3,000 m² of roof space generates around 500,000–600,000 kWh per year, supported by a 950 kWh battery storage unit.
