Founded in 1999 by Etla Breyer-König, chairs.de creates jewelry that takes the form of miniature chairs. The gold collection, launched in 2003, is called 'Schmuck der sitzt' (jewelry that sits) and combines sculptural form with ergonomic function. The silver line 'Stühle zum Tragen' (chairs to wear) features tiny chair motifs integrated into each piece. Bronze and silver chair miniatures are also produced as standalone objects. The workshop is located in Pforzheim, Germany.
