Founded in 1793 as a dye works, the site converted to papermaking in 1893. The name CENPA, an acronym for CENtrale des usines à PApier, emerged in 1929 after a merger. Destroyed in 1945, the mill was rebuilt post-war. It operated under La Rochette from 1960 and Sonoco from 1998 before becoming independent in 2016. Today, CENPA produces custom recycled paperboard on two machines (M4 and M5). Grammages range from 120 to 600 g/m², with widths up to 2,450 mm. All board is FSC® certified (C154825). The company serves customers across Europe, typically within 1,000 km, and offers advice on selecting the right paper for specific needs.
