Buchholzer Weine

Founded as a winegrowers' cooperative in Buchholz and Sexau, this winery operates from Waldkirch in the Breisgau region. Its vineyards lie on steep slopes with gneiss weathering soils, producing wines that have ranked among the best in the area for years. The cooperative combines traditional hand labor with modern cellar techniques. White wines are fine-fruited and elegant; Spätburgunder reds show warm fruitiness with soft tannins. A light-flooded vinothek on site invites visitors to taste and buy.
