Founded in 1913 by Friedrich Schrimpf Senior in Mannheim, this family-run bookbinding workshop has been handed down through four generations. Since 2001, master bookbinder Annette Schrimpf has been at the helm, offering bespoke binding for theses, company chronicles, guest books, and custom slipcases. The workshop also produces photo albums, notebooks, leather books, portfolios, and industrial bindings in small runs up to 500 copies. In 2010, hands-on workshops were introduced, covering classic bookbinding, Leporello folding, marbling, and adhesive-free bindings. Annette Schrimpf has held a teaching post at the Darmstadt University of Applied Sciences since 2018.
