Brasserie Meteor

Brewing has gone on at the Hochfelden site since 1640, which makes it the oldest still in use in France. Brasserie Meteor stays independent and family-run; the Haag family is now into its eighth generation. The beers cover lagers, IPAs, stouts, fruit beers and low- or no-alcohol options. Returnable glass bottles are a deliberate part of how the brewery works. Its beers reach drinkers through retailers and through Le Meteor, the brewery's own restaurants in Strasbourg and Marseille.
